Cecilia Dupecher, Ph.D., Program Manager, Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) at the U.S. Army’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) led an informative webinar briefly explaining the program’s history and purpose followed by a discussion on how researchers can apply for $370 million in awards under PRMRP as part of the fiscal year 2023 review cycle.

Myotonic Dystrophy researchers were recently awarded $8.8 million as part of the fiscal year 2022 grant cycle. Since myotonic dystrophy was designated an eligible research area six years ago, researchers have been awarded over $16 million.

PRMRP Letters of Intent are due as early as March 29th with Full Application deadlines beginning April 26th, 2023! For General Application Instructions and more details on each Award Mechanism, visit the PRMRP hub on the Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (eBRAP).
